Jul et Mad - Les White Collection - Garuda - Basic
The splendor and opulence of the legendary city of Angkor.
Garuda is a Khmer divinity, half-man, half eagle. Lord of Birds known for accompanying Vishnu and Krishna in their fight against evil, he is a very important figure frequently represented in Hindu and Buddhist religions.
The gigantic Ankor temple site is today is shrouded by the jungle that invades even the most smallest bricks and stones. The impressive ruins, their size, the profusion of vast temples and the richness that characterizes them, is living witness to the strength and power of the Khmer civilization.
An impressive number of Garuda sculptures ornate the temples of Angkor, the most impressive representation being found in a gallery of Angkor Watt, its bas-reliefs being decorated with dozens of them. At sundown, the gallery is bathed in sunlight and all the statues appear as if they are covered in gold…
This golden, splendid picture is captured in Garuda. The entire composition has been built around gold, with its two opposing yet complimentary facets: the cold aspect of the metal is represented here by a combination of fruit and spices, especially pink pepper that opposes but is also in perfect harmony with the warm aspect of saffron sustained by an exquisite accord of Cambodian oud.

The Jul et Mad Flacon
Classic in its form, but with a modern twist lent by the thickness and weight of the glass, the precious flacon is in perfect harmony with the concept of the brand… An intriguing duality is expressed throughout the inspired decoration.
The two facets complete each other, in an allure of extreme, timeless elegance, giving the impression that the perfume bottle comes to life while embracing the light. The transparent front is delicately engraved with the brand and perfume names in pure platinum letters. The back, in perfect symmetry with the front, is entirely frosted, with the exception of the logo symbol, thus responding to its other half. The couple’s entire duality is expressed in this perfume flacon, the Jul et Mad logo existing only by the association of the name and the symbol through the transparency of the glass, the image of two souls completing each other.
The flacon is crowned by a cap of impressive weight and quality. Designed by Julien and entirely conceived in zamak, the object reinterprets in an artistic way the symbol of the logo, thus creating an inspired homogeneity with the rest of the design.
